Waves approach us unannounced
And separates us from our uniformity,
What would you choose to do now?
Would you get to the heart of it or out of it?
Or would you let it sweep you off?
How about we dig a little deeper?
To understand this space better
Leaving the surface to get to the bulk.
Only to find ourselves even wetter.
Now you scream at the top of your lungs,
Can you hear me listening?
Or is it lost in transition?
Like mine. Like everybody else's.
The shore is where we had begun.
Do you wonder where we'll end up?
Do you wonder when?
Or you just wander?
How about we walk on water?
Or would you rather swim in land?
Do you see the difference?
Or do you finally see now?
